Summary

Tor Technologies, LLC is an IT services company in Honolulu that provides managed IT support, IT consulting, backup and disaster recovery, and business VoIP phone systems to small businesses across Hawaii. I built their WordPress website with a page for each service, a blog covering what their clients ask about — VoIP, managed services, and backups — and a newsletter signup.

Tor Technologies sells four services to small businesses, so the site is built to make each one findable. I built it in WordPress with a page for Managed IT Services, IT Consulting, Backup and Disaster Recovery, and Business VoIP Phone Systems, each following the same pattern: a hero that states the offer in one line, an explanation of why it matters, and a clear next step. A Service Areas section names the places the company covers — Honolulu, Kapolei, Pearl City, Kahului, Kihei, Lahaina, Hilo, Kona, and Lihue — which answers the first question a local buyer asks: do you cover my island?

IT companies have a particular problem with their own websites: clients cannot judge the technical work, so they judge everything around it — whether the site is current, whether the phone number is easy to find, whether someone will explain things in plain language. A website for an IT firm has to demonstrate competence rather than claim it. I build WordPress websites for IT services and technology companies that do that: a page per service instead of a list of acronyms, plain-language explanations of what the client actually gets, and service-area coverage that makes a local enquiry easy to start.
