My creative roots were nurtured in Baguio City, where I studied Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Baguio. There, I had the opportunity to work with the late multimedia artist Santiago Bose — a pioneer in integrating digital tools with traditional art. Under his mentorship, I gained hands-on experience in Adobe Photoshop and digital image editing, skills that laid the foundation for my career in digital design.
It was during this time that I discovered my love for the web. While experimenting with Bose's laptop, I came across Netscape Composer and became fascinated by the idea of building websites. I immersed myself in early web development resources like Webmonkey, mastering HTML, Flash, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. My first project was a website for the Baguio Arts Guild — a humble beginning that marked the start of a long journey.
Over the years, I honed my skills and landed my first professional role in Manila with an American web design firm in 2000. That led to a position with a multinational market research company in Kuala Lumpur in 2001, where I maintained corporate websites and assisted in developing online surveys.
In 2018, I returned to my hometown Vigan to manage my late father's newspaper business. Despite relocating away from the capital, I continue to deliver high-quality web development services remotely — supported by fast internet and nearly two decades of discipline working across time zones.
