The 35th Philippine Urological Association Midyear Convention took place from 24 to 27 April 2019 at the Asturias Hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, as a joint meeting with the EAU Section of Andrological Urology under the theme “Trending: Male Infertility and Sexual Medicine”. I built the convention website with WordPress and host it on my own web hosting service.
The site covers what delegates need: the four-day scientific programme grid, the plenary session timetable with talk titles and speakers, the guest speakers and organizing committee, abstract submission for andrology and infertility topics, a sign-up for email updates, registration, and travel information that includes a guide to Puerto Princesa itself. It was built as a lighter companion to the larger PUA 2019 annual convention site.
A midyear meeting still needs the same essentials — programme, speakers, sign-up, and travel details — without the overhead of a full annual convention build.
