Details

PUA 2019 was the convention website for the 62nd Annual Convention of the Philippine Urological Association, held from 27 to 30 November 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City. Themed “The Best of EAU: Bringing Europe to Southeast Asia”, the meeting was a collaboration between the PUA and the European Association of Urology, together with the European School of Urology, the EAU Section of Uro-Technology, and the EAU Section of Andrological Urology. I built the site with WordPress and a custom theme, and host it on my own web hosting service.

The site carries the full delegate journey: the scientific programme grid laid out by day, the detailed timetables for the ESUT, SEA-UREP, and GURS workshops, the special sessions and educational courses with their dates, venues, and fees, the international faculty and organizing committee, the abstract submission call, and travel and tour information. Registration runs online through a cart and checkout with PayPal payment.

Conventions need a site that can carry a programme, a faculty list, several registration categories, and payment without becoming a maze. I build WordPress event websites for medical and professional associations that handle all of it and stay easy to update as the programme shifts. Contact me about your convention website.
