Details

PERC 2021 is the website for the 2nd Percutaneous and Endoscopic Renal Surgery Course, a biennial postgraduate course run by the UERMMMCI Department of Surgery – Section of Urology, in collaboration with the Philippine Urological Association, the Philippine Endourological Society, and the Philippine Alliance for Urolithiasis. I built the event site with WordPress and Elementor Pro, and provide the hosting and support behind it.

Because of the pandemic, the 16 and 23 October 2021 course ran entirely virtually over Zoom with free registration, so the site had to carry everything a delegate would normally get on site. It includes a countdown to the broadcast, the international and local faculty, the two-day scientific programme covering RIRS and PCNL, the organizing committee, sponsor pages, and a logged-in account area with the webinar link and evaluation forms for each day.

For conferences that move online, the website becomes the venue — it has to hold the programme, the speakers, and the join links without losing anyone along the way.
