Crux Capital is a US-based private equity fund that invests in business litigation, formed in 2013 to create value by helping companies manage litigation risk. One of its founders came to me with design ideas already laid out in Illustrator files and asked for them to be turned into a custom WordPress theme.
I refined the original designs to give them a more professional finish, then built a WordPress one-pager theme that carries the whole site on a single page. It runs as an original child theme of WooThemes Canvas, with sections for US, YOU, the firm’s BUSINESSES and LAWYERS audiences, the founders, and contact details over a map of the Irvine, California office.
A one-page website works well when the story is short and the design is strong — it keeps visitors moving through the argument instead of making them hunt through a menu.
